I went to the dealer and bought an expensive battery ($69.99 if I remmeber right)that lasted less than one riding season. Then I went to advance auto and bought a battery for $22.99 that has been on my bike for 3 seasons and been run down twice. It isn't the exact battery for the savage but the only thing wrong is the terminals are reversed so I just slide the battery in backwards and run a longer vent hose. Like I said it has worked for 3 yrs. And it is a lot easier to find than a regular Savage battery. I dont' know the number off hand but I will get it and e-mail it to you soon.
